This is a gorgeous early era, authentic Coach Leatherware bag. "It is most likely from the late 1980s when a change of ownership came with changes to both the creeds and the serial numbers. Instead of the “Made in New York City, U.S.A.” stamp, the addition of new plants meant a change in the creed to “Made in the United States”. The serial number also changed during the 1989-1990 period and now was “No.” followed by four numbers, a dash and three more numbers." This information was sourced from a Coach authentication guide called "Coach Serial Numbers - The Basic Facts."
This bag has a long, thin crossbody strap and fold-over flap top closure with brass turnlock. Inside has a large open compartment and slip pocket where the creed and serial number are stamped. This bag is in exceptional condition for its age. Has some scratches on the hardware.
This bag comes with a matching Coach small, flat single pocket zipper bag/wallet in excellent condition.
MEASUREMENTS for the purse (inches):
Height - 7.5"
Width - 7.5"
Depth - 2"
Strap drop - 24"
Label - Coach - made in USA
Condition - good vintage condition (scratches on hardware; clean inside and out)

The best way to determine fit is to compare the measurements listed with your measurements. If you don't know your measurements, you can easily use a tape measure to take them. Knowing your measurements will help with all of your online shopping. Simply measure your bust around the largest point, your waist around the smallest point (just above the belly button), and your hips around the largest point (at the mid to lower bum).
